DG&A Announces Yet Another Placement with Allied Industries

For the past year, Allied Industries, Inc. (Allied)  has retained David Gomez & Associates (DG&A) as a trusted search partner to perform multiple executive searches such as Chief Operating Officer, Controller and Human Resources Manager, just to name a few. This summer, Allied retained DG&A once again to place their General Sales Manager.

Allied Industries, Inc. is a general contractor specializing in environmental remediation, environmental consulting and engineering, and construction services firm dedicated to providing professional, practical, and economical solutions to our client’s environmental and construction problems. In addition to their technical consulting services, Allied also excels at providing general contracting with experience in vertical and lateral construction, demolition, and asbestos, lead, and mold remediation.

The General Manager/Sales Manager will be responsible for sales management and general manager duties.  They will direct and coordinate the activities of the operating unit to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximize profits. In addition to coordinating activities of sales, operations, engineering, fabrication, project management, and field installation. The successful candidate needed to possess strong sales manager experience in the construction industry and have a proven leadership track record with excellent communication and personnel skills.

DG&A filled the position within 60 days with Ken Haley who was previously the General manager at C&W Construction Specialties, Inc. in Ventura, CA. At C&W, Ken was responsible for management of the accounting department, balance sheet and income statement review, budget development and analysis.  Ken’s accomplishments at C&W include developing state wide material sales program (increasing sales volume 25%), expansion of the construction division to include solar distribution market and being instrumental in the design and launch of a company wide website.

Ken attended Ventura College / Industrial Technology and participated in the Associated General Contractors Advanced Management Program. Ken is a Board director for the Associated General Contractors Tri-Counties and the American Traffic Safety Services organizations.  Ken’s strong construction management, construction technology and construction engineering experience combined with his past work experience make him the perfect hire for Allied.
